I was sick and in the hospitle and my wonderful fiance bot me some beautiful flowers. The flower delivery man arrived after I had left the hospital and gone home. I live in a small town near the big city. He is now trying to make every excuse not to bring me my flowers even though it's just fifteen miles down the highway. He took the money and the order so he should deliver. The order was made on Monday Jan, 19 2009. I still have not gotten my flowers. Roses, carnations and a cute teddy bear. He says that he will bring them and then doesn't.
What should i do, have my fiance get his money back or wait a few more days? I mean wait till Wednesday Feb 4 09. What do you all think I should do? He apparently doesn't want to bring them out to me and also doesn't want to offer the money back. the comment was made, open quote, "Well, they already have been paid for so ..." closing quote.
Any advice?
It looks like you'll probably have to meet him half way here. He followed through with his job even though he arrived late after you'd left for home. I don't think he'll give you a refund that easily since he spent time and fuel traveling to the hospital, this doesn't mean that you won't get your money back. Your fiance is probably gonna have to go get the things himself, and have the "jerk" charge for the order only, not the delivery service. Of course that depends on how much the gift means to you.
My bf is in the mireems and can't go and get them without going to jell. I did find a place wear he could bring them and when I got them they weren't roses and carnations with a teddybear Like i was supose to get but instead, he gave me flowers half did and no teddybear, not even the flowers my bf aka fiance ordered. And he talked to me and a friend like we were dogs! I will see what my bf wants to do about it.
sounds like you gota wanker on your hands here, take him to trading standards. i don't know what they're like in your country though.
